Assembly technology of a simple structure with heating elements
As a body for the future gun, you can take a piece of large diameter pipe. For this, metal or asbestos-cement products are suitable. The size of the case must be selected taking into account the span of the fan blades, which should overlap one of the end sides of the device. Ready-made heating elements can be purchased in a store or removed from an old boiler or stove. For operation, you will need a circuit breaker, a three-core cable, a safety switch, and bolts.

To begin with, the required power of the device is determined. To do this, you can use the formula that was discussed earlier. After that, you need to check whether the wiring in the room can withstand such a load.
Next, the body part is made. If you don't have a metal pipe on hand, you can take a steel sheet. It can be folded into position and fixed with rivets, hoops or welding. If you intend to use a bucket or pan, saw off the bottom. The result should be a rectangular or cylindrical body.
Then the resistance of the heating element is compared with the calculated data. If necessary, 1-2 additional elements can be added to the circuit, which are connected in series. To increase the power, the heating element is shortened. An electric motor and a fan are fixed at one end. The blades should cover the lumen as much as possible, but at the same time nothing should interfere with the rotational movements. The mains wires are connected through a fuse. A switch is also installed here.
The heating element must be fixed inside the case, preferably in the center. As fasteners, plates made of refractory metals or rivets can be used. The heating element must be located at a sufficient distance from the fan, otherwise the motor will overheat. The wires should be routed outside and connected to the network through another fuse.
The structure is completely ready. Before starting to operate it, it is necessary to check the quality of insulation on all connections and perform a trial test. If assembled correctly, a fan will start at one end, and heated air will come out at the other. Such a gun is very easy to manufacture and requires only time and minimal knowledge of electrical engineering, although it will be much safer to purchase a ready-made device in a store.
